Looking after your money

  • The Law society prohibits us from paying out any monies for you (except nominal disbursements) until we have cleared funds from you.
  • If we receive a cheque for any money due to you we cannot pay you until the cheque has cleared through our Bank.
  • If we hold funds from you for any reason and you owe us any money we reserve the right (unless we agree with you to the contrary) to use such funds in settlement.
  • The Law Society's Accounts Rules require us, in certain circumstances, to pay you interest on the funds which we hold on your behalf. Where these rules apply, interest will be paid to you gross and it will be your responsibility to account to the Inland Revenue for any tax due on the interest.

We'll Call You Back!
